The Hustle That Didn’t Hold

The truth about why abundance starts within—before it ever shows up in your bank account.

For years, I believed something very logical.

If I worked hard enough…
If I put in the hours…
If I did the marketing…
If I made the sales…

I would be financially set. My business would boom!

And to be fair?
The money did come in.

Sales were up. Clients were signing. Revenue was growing.

But there was a big, big, BIG problem, one that just kept happening over and over.
I was living my own version of Groundhog day!

The money wouldn’t stick. It just wouldn’t stick no matter what I did.

In fact, it seemed to go out even faster than it came in.

Every single month I would look at the numbers and feel that same wave of frustration: “How can I be working this hard and still have nothing to show for it?”

On paper, everything looked successful.

Energetically? It was a leak.

After doing some deep diving into my mindset (thank you, Money Quiz), I uncovered something I hadn’t wanted to admit:

I didn’t feel worthy of the money.

So unconsciously,

I would spend it.
Give it away.
Move it.
Get rid of it.

I was earning it… but I wasn’t allowing myself to receive and hold it.

The Mirror Moment

And then the real lightbulb moment came.

The Money Personality Quiz showed me who I truly was, innately:

A Ruler.
A Nurturer.
And a Celebrity.

Suddenly everything made sense.

Of course I was working endlessly — classic Ruler energy, carrying it all.
Of course I was giving money away — hello, Nurturer heart.
Of course I was spending it — Celebrity energy loves expression and experience.

It wasn’t that I was irresponsible.

It was that I was unconsciously expressing my money archetypes without awareness or alignment.

No strategy could fix that.

I didn’t need more marketing.
I didn’t need more sales.
I needed to elevate my sense of worth.

And I didn’t need to change who I was innately. I could still be my Ruler, Nurturer, Celebrity self —I just needed to see my challenges for what they were and, shift them and leverage the strengths of money personalities.

I needed to allow…

the Ruler in me to lead wisely instead of overwork.
the Nurturer to give from overflow instead of depletion.
the Celebrity to enjoy money without using spending as release.

When I raised my internal worth — everything shifted. Money stopped cycling through my life.

It started staying.
It started growing.
It started feeling safe.

Money is now my BFF.

And here’s what I know without question: Abundance is an inside job.

You Don’t Get to Keep What You Don’t Feel Worthy Of

You can hustle your way into revenue. But you cannot hustle your way into abundance.

Abundance is not just income.

It’s safety.
It’s capacity.
It’s the ability to receive and retain.

If your nervous system doesn’t feel safe holding money…
If your identity doesn’t match the level of wealth you desire…
If you subconsciously believe you have to prove your worth over and over…

The money will flow in. And it will flow right back out.

Not because you’re bad with money.
But because your internal thermostat hasn’t adjusted yet.

Money Reflects Your Self-Worth

Money is neutral.

It simply responds to:

What you believe you deserve
What you feel safe holding
What identity you’ve claimed

When you elevate your worth, your wealth rises to meet it.

When you believe you are brilliant, capable, and deserving—not someday, but now—you stop sabotaging what you worked so hard to build.

The Shift Is Identity, Not Strategy

Most women entrepreneurs think they need:

Better marketing
More visibility
A new offer
Higher prices

And yes, those things matter.

But if your internal money story says:
“I can earn it, but I can’t keep it”…
or
“I have to spend it or I’ll lose it”…

No strategy in the world will override that pattern.

Abundance begins the moment you decide:

“I am worthy of holding wealth.”
